I have been a Naim user since 2000 and over that 25 year period i have gradually upgraded through a variety of means to a full 500 system. In my current system only my Supercap and Superline are new , everything else was acquired second hand.
When i acquired each element I checked the Service History and status. However a couple of months ago i realised i don’t have a consolidated list of that Service History and i suspect a couple of pieces are ready for a service.
I have subsequently contacted Naim Service to see if I can get a consolidated Service History but have had no response. What can i now do other than track back through a whole host of email’s , ebay messages and i suspect lost paperwork !
sorry you have not heard back. Others on here may be more learned-but I have found if I give naim customer service a call, they are more than helpful-that’s how I have checked service history.
How hard would it be to search your inbox for messages from Naim support if that’s how you contacted them? Remember also that Class A in Sheffield could have carried out Naim authorised services on your gear, in which case they, not Naim, would have a record.
Based on our recent forum visit, we did not have access to the service dept, much as Richard would have liked that. They are very busy, perhaps call them.
Hi folks , spent a few hours trawling through emails and paperwork and got some of the picture but not the full picture. Gave the support line a call , answered within a minute and a really helpful guy called Duncan gave me everything i needed and happily agreed to document it all - GREAT SERVICE
