Share user data?

My Mu-so 2 has been slow to respond to the app in the last couple of days.

For example the Di Castri album is streaming but the bottom of the screen shows the album streamed on last use. Rebooting the app fixes the issue.

Also I keep seeing the above message. Anyone else?

I haven’t seen the problem that you’re mentioning with my app (connecting to an ND555, a Mu-so Qb 2, and a Mu-So Qb 1st gen).

When you ask about the above message, was there supposed to be a second screen shot? Or is this referring to the “share user data” title of the thread?

Sorry, I was unclear. I keep seeing the message in the subject line.

Do you have the setting on or off?

It’s on. However the problem has resolved itself and all is working as normal. Thanks for your interest.

Good to hear that it’s resolved :+1:

I am curious to now what “anonymous data” would be shared

This is what the App says it shares:

Information which, lets be honest, is about as much use as a chocolate fireguard. What Identifiers is it collecting (its supposed to be anonymous but if there is an identifier it really can’t be) and what usage? Is it how much I use the streamer, when I use it, what I listen to?
I have this turned off but at least once a day it asks me to share this mysterious information. It actually really annoys me, I turned it off already so it should respect my decision and stop asking me.

I think the clue to this is “diagnostics”, that reporting can only work usefully if the context of the diagnostic report is known. Anyway I leave this switched on and forget about it.
