Show me a bigger mullet!

What is mullet about that system? Looks like B&W802(?), a McI amp of some variety and a Naim streamer of dome renown.

BTW, poorly sighted members using text-to-speech to read the forum might not be able to make much of just an image.

It’s a headphone amp driving my 803d4 :see_no_evil:

Does it do the job, sound good, with tight control over bass? If so nothing wrong, though it may be limited in headroom - and if it is, and you push it to clipping, you might risk damaging the speakers.

The amp is 2x50 so it hardly does the job but it wasn’t unlistenable. I have my old Dali Rubiccon 6 so was just checking if the amp would be able to drive them and they actually sounded much better than B&Ws with this little amp.

Is a good reminder. You can also add alt text when you attach images to a post. I try to do that on mine, I don’t always remember. The music room threads are “worst” for this though, images of album covers with no alt text or descriptions, are entirely inaccessible if you have visual impairments. It’s a salutatory exercise of you ever try using the forum with a screen reader, quite how difficult it is in the first instance and quite how many posts aren’t much use without text in the second.

I’m not visually impaired, (yet!), but do try and think from the perspective of others once in a while. Anyway, there are worse threads to pick this up on, and I realise this isn’t at all on topic for this one, so sorry @Buns for the drift - nice system by the way, enjoy it in all its mulletness

Part of the blame lies with Discourse, the forum software. Not only is there not a prompt for alt text, the only way to do it at all is to edit the cryptic-looking string that appears in the dialog box after you’ve selected the image. Example:

![album-cover-filename|511x500](upload://xRWkXSPm5RuZJYbwmyCDhjye463.jpeg)

To get alt text, you’d need to change the album-cover-filename part to something meaningful.

I’m referring to the desktop version of the software. It may be that the app is different. Either way, this is bad, in fact I’d be surprised if it didn’t break laws in some territories.
