I take it you are a “grilles off” man…

I’m curious about the Stack Audio 70 . If I may ask what did they cost you in the UK ?

Indeed.

£680 as B grade stock from Stack Audio. Assume they are returned items on the SA 60 day return policy.

Thanks @NigelB in the US the 70’s are $1030. Or €730.00.

That actually is a 60 day return policy!

Hi @NigelB glad you have found the Stack Audio AUVA 70 beneficial. I’m using the smaller 50’s here under my iBLs with excellent results, and my music buddy Adrian bought the same for his naim Credo’s and is super happy with the improvement.

Gorgeous. Looks completely different than Yew veneer on my 100A.

I bought mine second hand, so I don’t know much about the finish. Would love to learn more about the ATC veneer options and history.

On my SCM10s looks a tad reddish, maybe they are older than your SCM100, mine are like 30 years old, in an absolute mint condition. Absolutely stunning veneer, it was basically love at first sight for me :).

These sound stunning on the end of a 500DR

they fit the room beautifully but disappear when the music is flowing, what more can I say.

A question for the ATC fraternity if I may. Any recommendations on how to cable-up the rears of 50-passives (or others with multiple connectors)? i.e. anyone found a meaningful difference/improvement?

The ability to split across the connectors is a tad limited by the construction of SL cables!

I tried lots of combinations and this sounds the most natural and rewarding to my ears. I hope that helps.
