Continuing the IKEA theme - this is Traby (sadly discontinued) which was always used as record storage but I recently experimented with using it for the system and I’m pleasantly surprised at how well it works.

Perfect combination - music and alcohol.

TV watching setup, just a Wiim Amp with Totem Arro speakers that I had sitting around. Sounds much better than my previous Sonos soundbar. Go Canada!

For a moment I thought they were bottles in a drinks cabinet, but unfortunately they are just valves! That would have been perfect integration.

I agree. But the worst would be solid states inside

Kallax and something from Next(?) we bought 20-30 years ago sits under the Rega, which also holds a Philips CDP within…

A steel frame with a pretty heavy slab of granite to support the NSC 222 (and in the past my Audiomeca turntable). The bottom shelf was glass only but has been reinforced with a piece birch board and a slab of cork.

Loving a bit of Ercol in one’s life :+1:
Ercol Rimini, to be exact

We have bits of Teramo and Rimini dotted about our house

Hey @ratrat

Your rooms look absolutely stunning. I love the understated aesthetic and the practical arrangement of each of your systems. They are both sympathetic to their respective rooms and style. Thanks for posting them on here.

I hope your active system has settled down nicely and that you are enjoying the changes you made last year.

There are some wonderful pieces of furniture in this thread.

Very nice, it looks rather like a 60/70s G Plan sideboard to me. They were very well made, too.

That’s one cool setup.

I hope I’m allowed to post, as I have furniture and a rack:

The New Zealand Rimu AV cabinet houses 2 Blu-Ray players and the Heed PS and headphone amp with the 65” OLED TV on top:

I’ve removed the doors from the office Crescenda with the bottom shelves for stacked records, and the upper shelves have flip trays for CDs and DVDs (both in storage saving sleeves). ND555 and LP12 on top, plus switch, PSx2 and phono stage on top.

This is my Mums old stereo cabinet that we had in the family home when I was a lad. I’ve removed the bottom doors so the records are visible, then used the middle section for the Uniti Core and a flip tray of CDs. Then on top I have flip storage for reference SACD and Bluray, and some favourite records and the currently played one at front.

Downstairs minimalist and I love it.

Calia John Lewis Dubai Festival City sales 2019. Ridiculous that we could buy John Lewis range in Dubai’s summer sales at 30% of UK RRP….

We filled our boots… Calia stuff is top notch…

Ercol tall boy for the bedroom system of QB2.

(PS when I first typed this, ‘Ercol’ was rendered as ‘Evil’, which was a little harsh, I feel)

I have a sideboard from Sudbrock. A German factory.

It’s a TV stand made of solid mango wood; I think it goes well with the ATCs… behind the doors are the streamer and its power supply, the headphones, and the amplifier.
