This little guy passed away the other day big blue was his name one of the best pet rats I’ve had bless him he’s now with the roses in the garden I must get a nice blue one next year in memory of him .

Rats often get a bad rep’. I liken them to miniature dogs in a way. Great characters. My sympathies.

Been recommended to put the tree up for a few days with no decs. In theory they won’t be interest in it. Remains to be seen. also been told they don’t like tin foil, so there may be a tin foil carpet going down!
That was our first Christmas with Ike. Had no idea what to expect so hadn’t taken any precautions. In subsequent years he showed little inclination to bother with the tree.

When Zebedee was a kitten he used to climb up the tree and look out in the same way as Ike.
None of the other cats have ever shown any such inclinations.
