I know how you feel.
Promotion: main dining room today for lunch with friends. Badger has had his sausages and is expecting some of my chicken and leek pie.
He looks very convincing……not been fed for days😂
Starved he is………
Mr. Tux the angriest cat in the village visited us today, his first visit of the year!
We were very glad to see him again and wished him an happy new year, and celebrated his appearance with handful of Dreamies.
It didn’t take him long to scoff them and demand some more, so i gave hime another few which probably wasn’t enough because he was far from happy with the short measure, and after i suggested he’d had quite a few already he was furious and got into a right strop. When my cats had finished their share, Disa didn’t take kindly to Mr. Tux growling at her, so she kicked his butt and chased him out the garden.
Can only think Mr Tux’s courageous beating a rapid withdrawal by rocketing back over the garden fence (and legging it) was his way of being respectably chivalrous in a male cat kind of way.
Probably off to find some other “kind hearted purveyor of Dreamies”!
These days I am “fetched”, usually by Coralee, every morning and evening for “Family Dreamies”.
Many, many, years ago, in our old house (no kids, no kitties), we would be visited every evening by a local kitty, who would sit on our doorstep as we arrived home from work, follow us inside, look around and graciously accept a small bowl of milk. Another look around and then he/she would walk out the front door, and go and sit in front of another door in the close………
So cute!
Great photo, looks very content.
He’s a legend! A real beauty as well
He’s a thug in a suit, and a real bruiser!
He almost clawed by hand off trying to keep the Dreamies, i think he wanted to scoff the whole bag. Lucky my cats were around to protect me, i’m lucky to be still alive and here to tell the tale!
So it’s fame of hungriest cat of the village Is really well deserved
Starved, even…
The poor lad is forced to beg for Dreamies…
Just look at this sad face…
OTOH, a pair of cuties
Javert et Jean Valjean! (two of our grand-kitties)
He’s just a greedy git very well fed and looked after by his servants, but all this kindness doesn’t stop him being perpetually disgruntled.
The pictures don’t portray the volatile anger boiling away just below the surface of his smouldering demeanour, let alone the unleashed ferocity of his razor sharp claws; which happens a lot with close encounters.
