Maybe she’s born with it…
After today’s early start I was cooking a late breakfast, nipping out every few minutes to throw for Zhukov. Then I spotted he’d done this.
Whilst taking the photo noticed him glancing to my left, a sure sign he wanted to draw something to my attention. Sure enough.
A squeaker, removed with surgical precision and deposited for me by the back door. Such generosity.
Willy.
Had to look twice.
B fore I zoomed in, thought he had caught a parrot🦜
At first I thought Zhukov killed Woody Woodpecker.
One could only hope….
Pesky puss
So did I , possible to catch a parakeet in London …
Often seen in Daughter#2’s garden.
They are getting quite domestic. Though tbf, I’ve no idea if I’m seeing the same ones each time. Either way, when two show up at once, they’re Pat & Pete…
Dora - a Red Fox Labrador - came into our home as an 8week old puppy, late January 2025.
Here she is today, at 16 weeks old.
Still very much at the puppy stage, training is a daily ongoing project.
Maybe the training is fun, it’s enjoyable for all parties.
Lots of walks and countryside and fresh air to be enjoyed in the years ahead.
Pub visits and beer might be involved, ( for the humans ).

She’s beautiful, bet it’s hard not to spoil her.
Here is my daughter’s dog Alfie, earlier today. He is about the same age as Dora.
My daughter is very strict about the training “No not like that Dad! You are just confusing him!”
Good looking dog. Very handsome.
If it’s any consolation, our daughter, “suggests” a few things too
And it’s not even her dog
