Is that white ring a mat under the disc?
The only mat I know that may be that thick is a… what’s it’s called…Funk Achromat?

Lovely plinth. Very unusual.

Hi, where did you get the Sorbothane feet from? Thanks, I have a Rega R8 too

Nice one mate! time to enjoy life🤘

Pro-ject xpression ukx with the classic evo sub platter , ortofon quintet bronze , the feet are upgraded OEM parts and obviously a heavier counterweight.

@SgtRock04

Just the usual…eBay
Make sure you get soft ones…they don’t have to take much weight!!

They make a marked improvement… even though my P8 is on a tigerpaw valkan stand
Cannot understand why Rega insist on using those rock hard rubber feet on all there models… no matter what the weight… guess they must have bought a job lot and have to use them up

Rega!!! Heads up… better materials have long since arrived!!!

I am pretty sure that I have recently read that the compliance of the feet that Rega use is correct for their turntables. In my experimentation, I found that using sorbothane feet was a crusher of dynamics, dulling the sound terribly. Of course, this was only my finding and not necessarily universally transferable.

Same for me. I used different feet under Rega decks, and found the sound less lively or too lean.
However a good stand is mandatory. I use a 5 cm granite slab.

Yes, it’s an Achromat

My P10 is just sitting on its natural feet on top of Fraim glass. I’ve thought about trying the IsoAcoustics Delos, but haven’t acted. Id buy it from a place I could return it to if I don’t hear anything. But leaning towards just leaving well enough alone!

I have not tried the isoacoustics gaia. Maybe they can uplift. But apparently they can’t be completely fixed under the P10, if I understood Dunc enough well. So it bothers me a bit.

Thanks @fordy.

I used to have the 3mm a long time ago - remember liking it a lot.

Can you point me to @Dunc 's post? A friend who owns one measured it, and it looked like the P10 feet might just, barely, fit on it. But that is just from the measurements.

The Oracle Delphi features a screw-in clamp since its initial introduction in 1979, I’m not sure if that was before or after the L-07D though.

notice any difference with the 500R ? G

I immediately noticed a rather more “punchy” sound, in a good way. First and only track so far was Money from a very nice DSOTM pressing.
