Wow, is there anything left from the Rega?
I use a Benz SL cartridge into a Trichord diablo. Great combo. Canât imagine changing it. Extracts all I want from vinyl.
Project turntable on acrylic stand ?
No itâs a Rega3 âŚ
Really , itâs just been adapted somewhat.
I think the platter and motor remain
That is worth a thread in itâs own right.
Yes, it really was a 1996 Rega Planar 3, no Project parts here. I must admit only the cover hinges, sleeve bearing washer, motor circuit board and back plate remain from the original.
I can see the Origin Live arm (99.99 % itâs one of theirâs.
Most of use change/replace parts of our system so it becomes barely recognisable (my own system only retains the CD player from 2 1/2 years ) itâs very unusual to see a constituent part go through a similar journey.
Wasnât it triggerâs axe?
Iâve always loved the styling of Michellâs decks.
Edited to remove the autocorrected t from Michell!!
Yes it is a Origin Live Encounter Mk3c fitted originally fitted by Origin Live at their factory.
Lovely , and the plinth
(Sorry for being nosey but very intrigued by it)

Much prefer the Full-fat Gyrodec to the SE
It was made by a Myliasian Master Engineer by the name of Michael Lim. He also made the housing for the motor and circuit board, an anchor for the tone arm and the triple pulley.

Magnificent .
Many thanks for sharing
Such a beautiful deck. Is that an old picture? My front LED doesnât glow since I moved to the Vertere PS.
No, that photo, was taken a couple of hours Ago, it still has all the original PSUâs and my original Roksan phono stage.
Ahah, for some reason I thought youâd joined the SG1 controller club. Is your phono stage the Artaxerxes that was built into the back of the deck or the later stand-alone one? I swapped out my built-on Arta for the Phono 1 last year, itâs really impressive.
