Shocking but totally reasonable.
Back to my system now. Sigma and Bricasti M12 have fully run in. What an amazing combination. Just listening to So What over headphones (Luxman 509z balanced jack). Never heard this like this before. In the beginning, Chambers bass is now wide back in the room, one can hear the wonderful resonance of the wood in the room and all the nuances of the strings. Miles trumpet is sweet and full of emotion and also stepped further back into the room. Coltrane and Adderly are more in the front now but have a lot if space around them

Initial impressions are it has the best of both worlds!
It has massive bass extension and wide soundstage of Omega yet the sweetness and fluid rounded nature of Sigma!
But early days!

If I ever have the chance to try sigma - omega (maybe after system rebuild) I will test the same. I use cheapo cinnamon from server to switch. Is also a bit edgy in contrast to sigma. I think I would like your combination as well.

It’s perfect. With Omega and Vodka it’s too edgy. With Sigma before Omega it gels really well.
It’s getting the right ‘cocktail’ balance!
You get the wider soundstage, incredible bass and clarity from Omega and the fluidity and emotional connection with Sigma.
The Sigma range of cables both with @Geko’s newly purchased Sigma X power cable and Sigma ethernet just supplies such a supple, fluid organic sound. A combination of Shunyata cables is something to behold!
So best of both worlds. I am in Audio Nirvana!
System sounds better than ever. Whatever I play now sounds right!

I have to admit I’ve not played with anything on my system since insertion of the Sigma X. The sound is so captivating I’m frightened I might upset something.

I am absolutely loving it. It’s like everything just clicked putting Sigma back in the chain.
And with G4 Musicworks, Nordost Tyr 2 cables on block and 555PSDR Analogue the system is just sounding so sweet!
There’s alot of high end cables in with full Superlumina loom and all the latest stuff!
Whenever I get something new something else changes and so the ethernet cable set up has changed again.
Every track I play sounds right!
