Signal Ground Again (I know , sorry)

I’ve read some of the posts on this but I’m still unclear.

I have nDac with ‘ground’ set to Chassis. I’m about to reconnect my Turntable, via stageline, which has a ground post that I intend to connect the turntable ground lead to.

Question, do I need to change the nDac grounding setting?

Thanks!

Unless the turntable itself provide a signal ground to mains earth connection via the tone arm ground cable (verifiable with a continuity meter if unsure) then I’d leave the nDAC setting as is and investigate further if you get any issues with hum etc.

You have your answer. No change in ground setting on nDAC.

And if you did get hum, the first port of call would be to test without the ground lead from the turntable before changing the ground switch on the nDAC.

I’m pretty sure you will have zero issue though.
