Is a slight chemical smell also normal? … I am not sure if it is bad, weird, or new naim smell.
Most new kit has a very slight ‘chemical’ smell as you describe it as it warms up.
I wouldn’t worry.

It appears that your new amp gives you loads of stress Ivo. That shouldn’t be the case. Enjoy!

normal - my new SN3 smelt for about 3 months, i quite like the smell, which is very different from burning electronics! My new ATC speakers also smell quite strong from the doping on the cones.
