Hi, has anyone managed to source a UK based acrylic cover for the Solstice Turntable?
As @Richard.Dane . He uses a big one made in order for his turntable.

I use a Pro-Ject Cover iT for my Rega RP10. It fits nicely over the Fraim glass and the back rests on a pair of stand-offs and a rubber foot that sit in the hole that’s usually taken by the metal peg. I don’t know though whether it is the right size for the Solstice.

Hi Richard, if you could give me the dimensions sometime, i could tell you if it would fit. I‘ve been looking to get one for mine.

However, the published dimensions for the current unit don’t seem to be the same as mine.
Taking a tape measure to my own cover, I get outer measurements as;
H = 205mm
D = 350mm
W = 495mm

A Correction from the original post - it appears you used to be able to get bespoke covers from ‘Tielo’. Very reasonable IME and good quality. I suspect there are other manu’s out there.
Sadly, it seems Tielo has gone put of business per UK Companies House.

Here’s another name to seek out, which I have no experience of, which looks like a very similar offering:

Look for StereoSquares. I have use them (via Audiogon). They have made custom covers to order for my old Clearaudio Ovation. They (Norm) do excellent work and are great about collaborating on design.
I never considered using a cover for my Master Innovation as necessary. It’s not really possible, or at least very impractical. I just use a vinyl disc on the platter to keep that dust free. That’s the part that matters. I use one made by Clearaudio. It’s overpriced, but I got mine free, so I use it. One can just as effectively use an old vinyl record you might discard otherwise.

I had a bespoke cover for my Solstice made by Scott Nangle (snvinyl co.uk) to my exact specification and it’s been excellent - just be careful when specifying the cable cutouts. Search for acrylic dust cover and message him with your spec.
Oh, nice. That’s all one really needs. The platter is what should stay dust free.
When I had a dustcover for my old Ovation TT I rarely used it. I didn’t have a convenient plae to pout while listening to records, so it would go in a different room. Often I didn’t bother to retrieve it to cover the TT.
I have a nice feather duster I use otherwise to keep things tidy.
Just watch out for those cantilevers whilst removing the spiders.
Both cartridges are fitted with their protective covers and the arms are secured to their cradles anytime I do anything around the turntable that isn’t playing records.
I use the Solstice platter cover that came with the turntable quite often. It’s raeally cool as one can leave an LP in situ and just place the cover on top to protect the record itself, which is the point of it I suppose…
As for a whole cover - wouldn’t Clear Audio be a port of call here?

No. Clearaudio has made optional covers for their lower range turntables (i.e. under the Innovation series) in the past, but they tend to be very expensive and not as nice or custom fitting as what one can get from 3rd party (like Stereo Squares).
It’s rather easy to dismantle a Solstice, just like a Fraim, clean and rebuild it within 30 minutes. No big deal or a big need for a cover IME. The platter cover? Now that makes good sense…
