Moved home, new build timber frame to a ‘built like a brick out house’ 1910 arts n crafts style place in Bournville. Dismantled and rebuilt kit for the move including a full strip of my Gyro SE. Just spun my first vinyl since the move and wow… Pink Floyds Great Gig in the Sky has just blown my little socks off… I was never happy with the sound of vinyl previously, but as the table was set up by a dealer I stupidly didn’t question it. I know the acoustics will have made a difference, but I’ve got to say I’m pleased with my work. Never doubt your own abilities I guess, or take what’s offered as being red, just because.
