Anybody ever have the speaker cable Shear from the end of the banana plug and is the spade are better fixing for speakers.
Using the Naim SA8 speaker connectors should prevent any strand damage to the conductors.
However, any connector can eventually shear off if the cable is bent back and forth constantly.
Spades can work well, where there is facility to use them, however you do need to keep checking that the binding posts are tightly screwed down as they do have a tendency to loosen off periodically, which is their weakness.
