Speakers to naim headphone amp

Can anyone tell me how to connect some active speakers to my naim uniti headphone amp. It says it is possible to do this on the uniti headphone amp page on the naim website. Moving it to my home office so some speakers would be preferable to wearing a headset. Many thanks for any help/suggesttions.

If it’s the Atom HE there are RCA and balanced outputs on the rear panel.

Yes it is, off to the local dealer tomorrow to choose some new active speakers. Thanks for your help. RG

Many active speakers including forum favourites like ATC and PMC and my little AE1s have balanced inputs. I’d use balanced cables, if possible, for the long runs you’ll probably have between your Atom HE and the speakers. Companies like Designacable can make up good quality balanced cables for you at any length you want. They’re UK based but will ship abroad I think.

The alternative to designacable is Mark Grant cables, they’ll also do custom lengths. I’ve recently bought a set of balanced cables, they’re well made with quality materials and connectors, and very reasonably priced.

I recently got Uniti Atom HE and a pair of Genelec G Three active speakers and I use Cordial XLR cables with them, they’re inexpensive and work very well. I got them from Thomann.
