I have Spectre on order as well as one Morgana IC. I too received the recent email. Who doesn’t have supply chain issues these days? Their service via email has so far been great.

I think they are a great small boutique company that make really good products at reasonable prices. I’ve found their communication pretty good, even if it’s advising of a delay. And they honored the 30 day return from the date a cable arrived at my house in New Zealand, all because I changed amps and they credited the cost against the replacement cable I needed.

This major milestone builds on the enormous development, manufacturing and logistics efforts which have dominated our engineers and back office team over the recent months.
We have now entered the testing phase to establish directionality and test all plugs types prior to commencing production, currently scheduled for 3-4 weeks.

Had no problems with dealing with WH over the years. I just recognise that they are a small company and that they are doing their best. Sometimes I have to be a bit patient.

I wonder if the WH team were hit by that dreadful chest/throat infection thing that is going round over Xmas? Certainly got me !

Massive increase in this at our German office, never seen so many off sick with chest and respiratory infections, at times 50-60 percent of out 100 strong building are sick, and there families. It doesnt last long but significant IMO, just wondering what could be the background…

For the pre-orders, it’s basically risk-free if you don’t like them. Just need to pay for return shipping.
Based on the well articulated opinion of other respected members here, I would be fairly surprised if the Spectre aren’t what they claim to be. But, we shall see.
I know what its like as i had it last year, plus i know how they work as a business.

Does anyone know if WH will assemble with Naim plugs at source and a different plug to match speaker terminals at target? Or do you just get what you get?
I was told you only need Naim plugs if using NACA5 due to its stiffness.
I’ve used bananas on phantom with no problems and specified the same on the spectre.

Anyone using SBL’s (if optimally set up/placed) will need plugs that hardly protrude from the back. I doubt I’d be able to fit a normal banana plug between wall and back of speaker 
.
90 degree plugs would be needed so not sure what options there are.

I think so, just send them an email (Josh is a great contact) with your existing gear and they let you know what they have and what they can do for you. They match their cables with your stuff.

As Pete says, just email them and they will let you know quickly, but most likely will be able to get it done. I inquired about a crimped only Phantom, at both ends, as the only option on the site is banana plugs fitted, but as I already have pretty decent Furutech ones (costing more or less same as the 3,5m Phantoms), I asked and they agreed to sell only the cable. Still waiting for it. Nice folks there though, wish they manage to solve their issues with vendors or whatever there is, I have a Morgana IC and it is such a fine one.
I’ve been awaiting a cable from them, and just found an email from them in my spam folder from 10 January saying there is a delay awaiting parts.
) with my prototype Spectre plugged in. Speakers are 3cm from frame to skirting board, or 4.5cm from frame to wall. It’s a mare getting the cables in but doable with patience.
