Is this the tier that’s going to get hi-res soon or is that a newer higher tier?
Does the UK offering allow audiobook access?
I only ask as a company I’ve purchased various computing resources from in the past is offering a year’s Spotify Premium subscription for $49.99 not $99.99 - probably for the US market but have seen a comment saying it works fine in Denmark (VPN?).
Qobuz Sublime annual sub renewing tomorrow - won’t be cancelling that in a hurry.
Thanks for that information - I’ve had an Audible subscription for tears but don’t think I listen enough to make t worthwhile so another way to access them is potentially appealing,
My monthly plan renewed a couple of days ago and I forgot to use one of 6 existing credits which is the max you can have on the plan - it’s happened several times before and customer services are generally good at reinstating the one you lose. It’s part of the problem - if I cancel without using credits I lose them, but I’m getting to the point I’m finding it hard to find things which appeal, or at least ones which do until you listen top the sample with awful narration!
I think this tier is the one getting hi-res, but the rollout still seems a bit vague. UK Premium doesn’t include audiobooks like the US version, unfortunately. That discounted deal probably works if your account region matches, some people seem to get around it with a VPN. And yeah, Qobuz Sublime is definitely worth keeping for the sound quality!
