Stacking Naim Products

Naim advise. Never stack Naim products on top of each other.

So, the question is. Does that statement apply to 2 products or must there be more than 2?

Are 2 items a stack?

I’m not asking if it’s right or wrong to stack Naim products.

It applies to any stacking. It’s your choice. But I would avoid stacking for sound quality and also it may damage the finish of your Naim products.

This is why a rack, shelving or ideally Fraim shelving is advised.

Many on here choose to stack equipment on top of each other. If you use some cardboard or paper it wont mark the units. And will probably be absolutely fine.

I have 3 stacks of Full Fraim but it’s your choice.

I’d stick to the rule that stocking is worse than stacking.

I’m interested in what the wording means, as opposed to whether placing a piece of equipment directly onto another piece of equipment is good or bad.

Look, Naim advises not to stack and use shelves.

What is you are after. It makes no sense!

Fatcat, I had a 72/140 on top of each other which sounded fine. Then I kept the 72 on top of the cupboard and put the 140 on the ground. Much more air in the music.

It’s just a light hearted thread asking whether grammatically; “never stack Naim products on top of each other” could apply to 2 products or would there need to be more than 2 products.

It’s been answered. What are you looking for?

Don’t stack is the advice for reasons stated.

Or stack if you want. Do whatever you want to do! It’s your choice.

Simple as that.

.

2 items is a stack.

3 items is a stack

4 items is a stack.

It is self evident! You can stack as much as you want to. Naim don’t advise it.

Not started yet, but there are 2 bottles in the fridge with my name on them.

I was going to say a stack in the fridge, but I’m not sure 2 would be a stack. :zipper_mouth_face:

Two, three, four or more sherbets.

I don’t think he has had any. This could well be the problem!

If you drink the two bottles in the fridge Naim police may well give you a reduced sentence with a caution.

The caution would be not to stack in your fridge. You could upset the casework :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

They won’t be in there long enough.

Don’t ask Google

Shelves in a library

As a verb, to place on top of another.

There is a lot more.
