I’ve tried to pair my 2024 Samsung QN77S92CAFXZC TV via BT with my Star and Bose Soundlink Revolve BT speaker to my Star but no luck.
My Star reads ‘ready to pair’ but doesn’t appear on my TV’s `list of BT devices.
Why won’t my Star appear in BT devices on my TV?
What BT transmitter would I need to connect my Star to the wireless Bose BT speaker??
The Star has Bluetooth receive functionality, the same as your TV, and can accept audio sent from a Bluetooth device (such as a phone etc). It can’t transmit audio via Bluetooth to another device.
If you want to send audio to the TV or Bose speaker from your Star, then you’ll need a separate Bluetooth transmitter, connecting it to the RCA preamp outputs on the Star.
What I meant was how can I transmit audio from my TV to my Star? I’ve connected both via optical and am just using that for now.
Any advice on which BT transmitter and which input on the Star I plug it into?
Just stick with the optical connection. I very much doubt your TV can send audio via Bluetooth, only receive.
