Station link expiring soon (Uniti Star)

The naim app is telling me “Station link expiring soon please re save the station again from the internet”.
The Uniti star Display screen is telling me to go to naim.vtuner.com with my MAC address but there is no radio list there. When I use the search function it tells me to save a file to my computer. Naim genius help is telling me to go to vtuner.com and login but there is no login section and I thought Naim was not using the old vtuner any more anyway. Apart from all that when I find a station on the Uniti star it won’t save as a preset anyway!

The Firmware should be updated on your Star to the latest version and you should then be able to search for updated stations from the “Internet Radio” button in the Naim app and you then replace your existing saved radio stations with the new versions.
This is due to Naim replacing the original V-Tuner radio with one of their own.
Hopefully it will work!

Thanks, Problem solved. So a computer was not required at all. Felt like a weird AI loop.

Correct, no computer necessary :sunglasses:

I have the latest firmware but my preset stations do not appear when I search for them with the internet radio button lit up. Any suggestions? Uniti atom.

I would search using the Focal Naim app.
You may have to re-add them if they were previously saved as favourites.
Click on the “Internet Radio” icon.
Click on the relevant icon for Country, region, genre, Naim Choice etc.
See if you can find them there and replace your existing presets.

Thanks very much, that’s what I have done to no avail. I’m looking for “Aloha Joe’s Steel Guitar Island”. Can’t find it.

Do you know what country and or region Aloha Joe’s Steel Guitar Island comes from?
USA? UK? Australia? Europe?
I’m guessing USA with Aloha in the name but I also can’t find it.
Maybe one for @Stevesky (not NeilS)

No not NeilS, it’s @Stevesky who might be able to help.

Hi Ted

Now added. This station had been originally rejected from the directory as is in extremely low quality (32kbit mp3 - it just gurgles).

Details here:

There are others in this network, but the audio quality is so bad that we’ll assume people will manual add if needed.

Best
