No, I never tried Moode but for no special reasons. I tried Volumio and DietPi but only very shortly. Thanks for the feedback, in which sense is the SQ different from that of GenTooPlayer?
actually after swapping out the OS back and forth, cannot reliably say if there is any major difference or not - and this is with Gentoo, Moode and Volumio…
Interested for your report on the new power supply.
I recently got uptone’s lps1.2 to power my Allo Digione Signature. Before i used unitiqute2 to feed my ndac which i found more natural compared to Allo with standard power (battery pack + wall wart ps).
I had a battery pack failure so i still use standard ps with lps1.2.
My early impressions? (2 days on service) lps is very promising, clearly an upgrade but only when powers dirty side: when i used it to power clean side sound hardened very much.
If there is a running in period and things improve more over time i think it will be much better compared qute2.
