Studio 54 documentary on TV last night

Not sure if anyone else saw the documentary on UK TV last night, but it was good fun and a bit of an eye-opener.

I had a chuckle when they were taking about the club’s strict admission policy - only the famous, beautiful and the fun. The place was full of celebs but not all got in free - it was said of The Rolling Stones that naturally Mick and Keith were comp’d, but the other Stones had to pay to get in.

Quite a long documentary, covering the rise and fall of Steve Rubell and Ian Schrager, and the latter’s subsequent global success in the hotel business (and pardon from Obama).

It’s probably still available on one of many TV outlets out there, for those of a disco bent.
