Poipu, Kauia, Feb 2020. So glad we got our annual vacation to the islands in before the world went mad.
This is me going for a sunset swim on Benaulim beach in Goa in 2015 you get these amazing sunsets there where the sun just seems to hang above the horizon for such a long time.
My favourite sunset seen from a beach in Sri Lanka the previous winter is confined to my memory though as we didn’t have a camera but in a world where everything is recorded it’s nice sometimes to still have moments that only live in the memory.
Strangely I don’t know the name of this beach it’s quite secluded and accessed only by driving through the orange groves just outside Oliva, Valencia. There is a small restaurant there that only opens for lunch but will open in the evening by arrangements for parties of four or more that is called Placebo so we call the beach Placebo beach.
