A Bedfordshire sunset.
Those airship sheds bring back fond memories.
Back in the 80s I worked at RAF Cardington. Lived at Great Barford.
Big Bedfordshire skies.
Memories indeed. I travelled past those daily back then, Kempston to Letchworth.
I look out from the back of my home to see them every day. I love that they are there and, for me, add to the skyline.
I drive to Letchworth too!
I have posted a similar view before, but couldn’t resist taking this sunset, mid-afternoon on Tuesday last week. River Tone, Taunton, Somerset.
Move to Yorkshire. We never see the sun and it’s always cold.
No sun, always cold…… ‘LUXURY!’
Quite nice wintery sunset yesterday afternoon looking at Felixstowe Ferry from Bawdsey Quay across the Deben estuary. Really enjoyed as the colours changed as the sun set.
… and a few minutes later, exposed over 8 seconds.
Up by the Brewhouse?
Wonderful
Ee by heck that’d be good
View from platform 2 at Carrickfergus train station.
I may have been in the Central Bar and missed the last bus of the evening.
Willy.
Yes indeed.
