Since we are on the side of a hill facing north-west we get sunsets all year. But, we don’t often get a nice sunrise until mid winter when the sun is low in the north. I was a bit late grabbing this one on cold morning this week when the cloud started drifting in:

Forest fires have caused another drop in air quality today in Montreal. The sky is more reminiscent of Delhi or Beijing but with the wood burning scent. The sun is a beautiful orange against the pale sky. photo doesn’t do it justice.

When there I figured that unusually for Norfolk the sunset would be over the sea given Cromer is on the top bit. Unfortunately just as the sun was going down, there was some cloud on the horizon so I couldn’t get the sun hitting the water. But close.
