I’ve seen a nac52 on Ebay which i’m interested in but comes with a serviced non DR Supercap 2. What is the value of the Supercap and are they sellable as I’m led to believe the DR version is the better option.

Despite what some folk might say, a non DR-Supercap is a terrific piece of kit.
Perfectly sellable as they are brilliant with a 52 and other Naim kit regardless.
I don’t know what the current value might be.

If I was in your shoes I would opt for a late model 52/SC and have them serviced!

The 52 was designed and sold before DR power supplies came out. I’d have no problem keeping the non DR Scap with the 52. I haven’t done the test but wonder if the DR version uplifts a 52 as much as it does a newer component such as a 252.
