Supercap to drive Snaxo 362 and 282

Hi,

Can anyone advise if it’s enough for one supercap to drive both the Snaxo362 and pre amp 282?

Or should I get another hicap to drive the 282 separately? Read somewhere that the 362 draws a lot of power.

SC powers one item. You need two of them :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

You’ll need a separate power supply for the 282 as you can’t power both the 282 and SNAXO from the Supercap.

As above. It has also been my experience to put the best possible PS on the SNAXO. So if you have only one SC, put that on the SNAXO and use another PS on the 282. There are a few options for that, including another SC of course.

You have posted a bit recently re setting up your potential active system. I wonder if it is worth reading a bit more about how they are connected etc. It can be complicated. Not sure how far down the road you have got. Did you confirm the 362 has been set up for your Kudos speakers?

Thanks for the info. Yes the 362 is tuned to 707. But was under the impression that the super cap will be enough to drive both. Thanks for the references. Will read thru them.
