that’s the way i feel since i pretty much listen to the same music give or take so this way it’s like rediscovering my collection with every upgrade
it’s the journey not the destination and all that crap i guess

Spot on. I’d only advocate a SCDR on a 282 as an intermediate step to a 252. I’ve agonised over this personally for ages. On a 282 the SCDR really doesn’t sound much better than 2x HCDRs but if your upgrade story ends with 252/SCDR the 282/SCDR makes sense.
