Just had an email saying SN3 production will cease imminently. Seems to leave quite a big hole in the line up. Or is something new in the wings?

Read this morning a comment in FB about this. Seemingly Naim struggling to get parts for it (?). In addition the message claimed that it’s also the end of Naim Core.
Strange that the SN3 is discontinued just 2-3 months after being updated to white led. The shortest-lived Naim ever?

I guess a supplier deciding to discontinue, or being no longer willing/able, to supply certain Naim specific parts isn’t going to overly bother them…… Presumably the option of Naim deciding to no longer trade with said supplier(s) is similarly insignificant to their overall business.
Sad but true reflection of modern just-in-time supply chain logistics and/or economics where volume is and always was king

It’s definitely a supply issue. The email said Naim have ring fenced components to protect current owners and maintain serviceability. Good to see the company thinking about that.

So that’s the end of the full sized Classic boxes. The range gets smaller by the day. The Supernait 3 is / was a wonderful amplifier.
