Good morning Bart - I cannot emphatically say that Steven did any personal A/B testing however he knows his products well. His job depends on it. And they do have the Lending Library to develope very useful real world knowledge from customers who have auditioned the cables. In addition, Synergistic Research themselves qualified the cable to be used for source components- not amplifiers or power conditioners - not TheCableCompany.

If HH has not said it yet, dedicated mains should come first as a cheaper but substantial upgrade.

Ciao Max, as usual your comments are really interesting and respectable to me…really appreciate.
I ve a psu related question for you: in your long naim journey did you move from 282+hcdr to 2hcdr? Worth the investment or better resist and move from hcdr to scdr immediately?
Hello everyone,
No real upgrade suggestion because at this moment, I am jubilant listening to the Rolling Stones on my SN3 / HCDR / NDX2 / XPSDR / Focal Spectral 40th system !!
What details, what balance, what punch, …
To wonder what could bring me an upgrade, even if I am convinced that there must be a way to do better!
Bandi92 - A perfect selection on this weekend. R.I.P. Charlie Watts.
There are so many upgrades, that’s the problem!! Too damn many.
It sounds like you are pretty content as it is. You can stick rather than playing.
But if you want a cheap upgrade how about a EE8 or a powerline or two ?
Or a more expensive one, then it’s the 282 using the SN3 as power amp.
Sorted. Enjoy!
Tumbling dice and Charlie doing his thing.
It is exactly for this reason, with a kind of melancholy of the end of something that rocked my life …
I already have Power Line on the 4 devices, concerning the EE8, I am very very skeptical about the influence of a switch, but …
Note: my speaker and interconnect cables are Whitch Hats. For me, they replace the NACA5 and the standard Naim cable advantageously.
Regarding a 282, it’s an open door to an arms race !!
Your system seems very well balanced. Yes the 282 leads you on and on and…
EE8 gets a lot of good reviews. My next upgrade for sure as funds are tight.
I work with a dealer who allows home demos. I took home the EE8 connected to my NDX 2 and listened. A week later I called the dealer and gave him my credit card number. My system, my room, my ears but connecting the EE8 improved the sound… See if you can get a home demo, in the scheme of things Hi-Fi, the EE8 is a very reasonably priced upgrade.
JMHO - YMMV
The EE8 is like an ethernet pre-amp , so plays an important role.
I reckon Chord will bring out a £2k one like others eventually, as it’s been a winner for them. So I’m hoping for a used EE8 bargain somewhere down the line. Please. Thank you.
Apologies to the OP for getting off topic.
We’re only human.
No apologies
It was my way of saying that this integrated system is just fantastic!
It’s a brilliant real world system you’ve got.
You rightly should be proud of it.
Latest upgrade. Today I installed my first SNAIC. Pretty fantastic so far. Changed over from Wireworld Eclipse 7’s RCA. Going from the NDAC to the Supernait 3. No going back now.
You can’t use a Snaic between the nDac and SN3. Maybe you mean a a Naim interconnect.
My mistake, thank you for the correction. hungryhalibut-
This is all very new , I need to keep a Naim glossary handy.

Wow! I only have 4 systems!
