Supernait + Superline + Hicap (s)

Hi All,

I currently have a HiCap DR powering a Superline connected into the AV In/Out on a Supernait 3

(only source is a Michell Orbe)

I have an offer to buy another HiCap DR which i was thinking of powering the Supernait 3 direct with

questions are a) is this technically possible and b) if so presume just connect the hiCap to the power link plugs but the manual implies you also have the old power connection in as well ?

Yes, when you add the Hicap as per your diagram above, it only takes over powering the SN3 preamp stage.

The poweramp stage and logic control for the input switching etc is still powered from the SN3 internal supply so you still require mains power to the SN3.

Don’t forget to order a SNAIC 4pin to 4pin DIN cable. It doesn’t come with HicapDR.
