I used cd5x with flatcap2 and have one slot flatcap2 available. Can i connect supernait 2 with one available? What are the improvement? Thanks
You could use it yes. You would need a SNAIC4 and a SNAIC5 to make the connection. However, I’m not entirely convinced it would be an upgrade as the Supernait’s internal pre-amp supply uses DR tech, so it might even be a step backwards. If you have the SNAICs handy, by all means give it a go, but otherwise, I’m not sure I’d bother.

Before owning a 282 and 250DR i had an SN2. I also had one of my current HiCap DR’s as well as a re-capped Flatcap XS.
The difference between a Flatcap and a HiCap is so pronounced there really isn’t any contest, the HiCap wins by some considerable margin. @Richard.Dane is spot on, the difference between a Flatcap and the SN2 powered under it’s own steam is even more pronounced than that between a Flatcap and HiCap. Personally, if i still had an SN2, i wouldn’t let any form of Flatcap anywhere near it.
