Supernait3 - 2 sets of speakers

I want to connect my SN3 to 2 sets of speakers, each in a different room (speaker cables go through hole in the wall). If I add a NAP250 via the Bi-Amp connection, will the main speakers directly connected to the SN3 and the new speakers through the NAP250 play simultaneously? Or does bi-amping switch the main speakers off?

That will work. Though you won’t be able to listen to the 250 without the sn3 also running. If you just want to play the sn3, you can switch the 250 off.

Thanks! Not sure, if this relatively expensive solution makes sense, though

I think you might need a better definition of what you are trying to solve…

I guess basically multi-rooming vinyl with two sets of speakers in two different rooms…

Your best bet for a simple way to add another ā€œzoneā€ here is to use another integrated amp and then feed it from the buffered ā€˜tape’ out of the Supernait. That also means you have local volume control for the second zone - which is important, especially if the sensitivities of the speaker differ.

Agree to the second integrated amp, makes sense, but which output is the ā€žTapeā€œ out at the SN3? Sorry for my ignorance…

HDD in/out. You’ll need a suitable low capacitance interconnect wired to take signal from the REC out pins of the DIN. Hopefully your dealer can make up something suitable here as it’s not exactly an off the shelf item…
