Are the Supernait3 and Ndx2 still relevant in 2026 with both being discontinued?
The streamer still uses the same tech (for example streaming board) as the newer models and naim haven’t announced a replacement for the supernait 3 yet so yes they are very much relevant.

Why wouldn’t they be (at the right price)?
I have eight Naim boxes in my main system, including an NDX2, and a Muso QB 1 in the office. All of them are discontinued and all are still totally relevant to me.

Still a great combination, plenty of used examples available, and easily upgraded with the external power supplies. Everything in my old classic system is discontinued now I think!

If it gives you the audio and build quality you desire, it certainly is​
. I recently bought a Naim Muso Gen 1 as it was the only speaker in that line I could afford. After some minor workarounds for age like connecting by ethernet cable; it blows away many single box speakers. It is built like a tank! 13kg. Because of ill-health I listen to it 8hrs a day, it never misses a beat because of things like giant heatsink. I love the Naim sound and hope it outlasts me. Never dismiss something simply because of old age.

Supernait 3 was discontinued due to part supply failure but Naim mothballed many spares for future support.
This amp is still very relevant and doesn’t sound worse due to discontinuation.
It still hasn’t been replaced and mine is going nowhere.

Of course. As is a Quad 303, Meridian 508, et al. Just because an item is not current production does not mean it has suddenly become rubbish. If something was good decades ago, it’ll still be good today.
OK, streaming tech does move on but not as drastically as many imagine. The Squeezebox Touch, for example, is 15+ years old. Still works well. Even if the streaming board in an NDX2 does become outdated it would still remain a dood DAC. An externa streaming transport could easily be used to bring it up to date.
Relevant, for me relates to budget along with performance and SQ preferences. I had the SN3 and NDX2 along with their power supplies. They were very good. I could have easily lived with them had I not had funds. However, I found the NC gear more to my liking and replaced my SN3 and NDX2. How does this relate to relevance? For me, the NC was more relevant I think.
