Can I’ve connected my smartTV via optical to my Star, and would like to find out if and how it’d be possible to connect 2 surround sound speakers.
The uniti star doesn’t support surround sound formats of any kind. You could always introduce an av receiver, connect the tv to that, and use the front left and right preouts to the star’s analogue input number 1. The receiver would then drive the centre and surround channels.
