System Automation 332-250

Hello all,

I have linked my 332 and NC 250 using the supplied optical ‘cable’, but whilst the 332 and 333 switch on and off (standby) via the remote, I have to switch the 250 off via the button on the unit.

I understand that they should all go on/off together, in which case something is wrong.

I have Googled this, have set everything to standby, then pulled the plugs out for 10 mins and restarted, to no avail.

I am pretty sure that the optical link is plugged in correctly, not sure there’s anywhere else for it to go, and both ends are in firmly.

Any idea what’s going on and how I fix it.

Thx
Tony
The sound is amazing (using a network cable)

Obvious point, make sure you’re connected from 332 OUT to 250 IN - I passed a fun 40 minutes wondering why my 222 no longer controlled my 250  after cleaning/rebuilding my rack. Reaching around the back of the rack, I’d plugged the optical cable into the wrong socket, despite checking twice :person_shrugging:.

Will do.

Solved!! Thank you.

I did the same as you.

I did not put the optical cable in until after I had built the rack and was hanging upside down trying to work out where to plug it in, and at the 250 end I put it in the wrong socket.

Dumb, serves me right. But all good now :slightly_smiling_face::slightly_smiling_face:
