I had a few years Nac52 / Supercap, I have never criticized his way of playing …
The nac72 is for me, more spontaneous and less authoritarian.
I do not exclude to return one day with a 52.
Dozey- Which Tron are you using? I am a recent convert

Oh, the shock. Oh, the horror!!!
Currently have very little space hence the micro setup. The Muso is a dream though for my situation and compliments my analogue setup very nicely. Will be moving in a couple of years and upgrading to some powered reference monitors.
Got the following:
Rega Planar 3 2016 with GrooveTracer Reference Subplatter, Ortofon Quintet Black S, TTPSU
Trichord Dino Mk3 Phono Stage w/ Dino+ PSU
Schiit Lyr 2 Headphone amp, Schiit Loki Tone Control
Listening on Shure SRH1540’s and SRH1840’s, and of course the Naim Mu-so
Chord Clearway Analogue RCA’s and AudioQuest Evergreen RCA-Mini Jack
From last year. Naim 5i-2, ND5 XS, Cambridge 752BD, Audioquest Niagara 1000 and Furutech eTP-80. The 5i was replaced by a SN2 and the Cambridge is gone.
Here are two pics of my system, soon after a new wood floor was installed. Still waiting on sofa and love seat to arrive. They will face each other on either side of the rug and speakers to help focus the sound. A coffee table is now on the rug as well.
Naim Nait XS and CD 5, Harbeth Compact 7-ES3 speakers, Nottingham Analogue Horizon SE turntable with Dynavector 10x5 cartridge, Pro-ject phonostage with Elecdol 12ax7 tubes.
A lovely pair of Sopras there, Boom.
Thanks MDS, I do love their presentation and the way the way they look. I managed to upgrade all my black boxes last year from 202/200/HC to 282/250drSC without the SWBO noticing, unfortunately I didn,t have as much luck when I swapped the S400 out to the Sporas.
That is one gorgeous cat!
Hahaha, one of three! He’s going deaf so sometimes his mows out do the Sopras.
Curious about that poster in the background, inasmuch as the USSR did not exist until 1922…
I also noticed that poster
Matisse was in Morocco those years, I’d guess its a poster for a book or exhibition that came later.
@DrMark @jan
During the Cold War, a number of art institutions and philanthropists ran joint/touring exhibitions as a means of building bridges between the US and USSR. The overview of Matisse’s North African period (held in 1990, IIRC) was one of these. Another, better-known example was the 1988 show of treasures from Leningrad’s Hermitage at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.
There was also a big exhibition of American Abstract Expressionist paininting in Moscow in 1959 which apparently stirred up a bit of a hornet’s nest…
Love the ash plinth on the Sondek.
Handsome.
Hifi looks good as well.
