It is made with spruce and oak wood, as well as the speaker stands, and the decoupling tips I bought on Ebay
Very nice room.
Do your diffusors work at such close distance from listening position? Everyone recommends to have at least 2m distance from back wall when using diffusors.
My listening position is also near the back wall, exactly as yours. And I was also thinking about Vicoustic diffusors, but I’m not sure if they work at close distance.
Yes they seem to be doing their job, I originally had all of these Viscoustics panels in a dedicated home theatre in my basement, when I lived in a house. In that room, I sat about six feet from the back wall, but I now live in an apartment, so two seperate systems were blended into one room. All these panels around my room might be the reason I thought my old Focal Sopra 1’s sounded fantastic, contrary to what people say about Focal here usually.
I take it you are using the UnitiQute as a source?
Yes, correct. At the time of that photo the UQ2 was used as a streaming source into the Nait2, although currently using the UQ2 independently for amplifier & streaming duties as the Nait2 is due a service, so now in a state of limbo as I decide what to do with with it - service and keep, or sell and put the proceeds to the better turntable front end I’m saving up for. Decisions decisions.
I would also try putting the Radikal under the NAP500 as the NAP sometimes seems to benefit being up a level and as a by-product may help in cable dressing by lifting it’s burnby up and avoid touching the floor.

I like the LP12 wall self in the same material and look as the rest of the system.
Shame that Naim do not do similar for their Fraim with a wall shelf as I would try one in my system.

Richard,
TBH, going for Hi-fi Racks racks is probably not so good from a sound quality point of view. But, the racks and wall shelf had to be aesthetically acceptable to my better half and also fit in a 1m wide alcove.
I think my system sound pretty amazing, anyway.
Now update with satin curtains and diffusers/absorbera glued to the wall. Sounds great. Been thinking of upgrading the 202 since there is a 252 with supercap selling at 4000€ and they are both 12 years old. However to get them serviced would set me back an additional 5000€ so, tempted but…
A couple of years ago I was also looking at a nicely priced 252/SC combo in the 10 year old range, but as you indicated, the cost of servicing was a deal breaker for me.
Well my system has moved on a bit since my last post on this thread.
Left bottom to top
Chc 555 ps
552 ps
500 ps
500dr
Right bottom to top
Superline and melco N100
NDS

speakers are fact 12
Still beats me how you got the 500 up that high
Bottom shelf was all I could manage & that was a couple of years ago. I couldn’t lift one off the floor nowadays.
A decent pint glass hh?

Hmmm – like the Muso in the kitchen, not sure about the beer…
It’s perfect with veggie dhansak. Cask ale just isn’t the same.
€4000 to buy sounds about right to buy unserviced units but an additional €5000 to service? Or do you mean service and DR?
Great looking set BTW. Always liked the look of the racks too. Isoblue?
Thank you! I searches the internet for prices and think it was service and dr. Its difficult to find pricelists. Yes Isoblue. I now found prices on naims website but only for supercap. I also found an American page av-option that has a pricelist for the nac252. So 1899€ for service and dr of Supercap and aproximately 1400€ servicing nac252. So it’s not 5k but rather 3300€
I’d grab that 252/SC2 at €4000 especially if the units are in good physical condition.
I hope that has some seasonal pumpkin added.
