How much of that beer did you have?
A rather unusual way to set up DBLs, are you using room correction to make them work in free space?
I think the point is they are designed to be used hard against the wall to give the proper bass response. They are normally used without toe in.
Very nice system👍
“Hi Yeti, possible to elaborate more on time alignment?” adriantsk.
More bass alignment than time alignment as HH say’s above. The usual setup is back against a solid wall. I have NBLs and they sounded at their best with 5.5cm between the back of the cabinet and the plaster, just enough room for a crossover and Niam plugs. I’ve never seen DBLs in free space before. How are they like that? You look to have gone to a lot of effort to treat the room.
Had my 252 serviced last year for £350. Def not €4000 for both I would think. My super cap still needs a service but sounds great and is 15 years old. Hope that helps.
After put on those treatment, less echoes now. Can hear more sound from speakers itself instead of room sound. More to go. Will keep on posting for every add on. Hopefully 1 day, my dbl can stick against the wall.
Set up my first Naim system yesterday. Only had a Muso until then.
Has been a patient 2-3 year saving/deciding plan. Changed my mind many times about what to get but decided on a 4 box system in the end. Made the rack myself too.

Nice set up there Praggers. Even more impressive carpentry skills!
Nice system, great looking rack, and lovely room.
Looks superb. Home made rack looks tremendous, you could go into business with these!
This is great, you must be delighted. What a wonderful project to do, jump straight into a superb system and build a rack at the same time. Great stuff.
€5000 to service two decks??
Ignore this. Just niticed your reply further down.
Are you using the same fronts both on a 5.1 and 2.0 set up?
Yes, using the pre outs on the AV amp
Added some artificial reeds between the speakers. Someone here advised me to put some green plants . He was right. System pics as feng shui advises…
frenchrooster,
Aren’t the speakers standing too high for a sitting listening position?
