No, I get 4 hi mags each month and get to see a lot of these systems. I thought it was meant to be a more personal thing, no problem though, it’s just me. Cheers.
And that’s a great comeback
Hi Dr Mark, love the look of your system. The Proac speakers look great. I have the 272/555dr/250dr with Ovators but your proacs look very purposeful and I bet they would quite dynamic.
Thanks Hugh - I definitely love ProAc with Naim - this is the 4th iteration. (I’ve had Tablette Sigs, Studio 140s, Response D2s - those I really liked, and now the D28s.) I have a friend with Ovators and they are very nice speakers as well.
Once I get things under control financially, I may bring in another PS; an XPS DR clone from an outfit that shall remain Naimless, and give that a try.
I think about upgrading, but if I never could, this would be fine for as long as I can listen to music.
You have a beautifully balanced system as it is. Just enjoy it . ATB. And best of luck with the. Hockey coaching. Hope your charges did well.
Agreed.
Never quite sure why someone wants to dominate a thread or forum. It’s happened in the past when some people think they know more than Naim themselves and spout constantly…
Seakayaker,…One Does Not Rule Out The Other,…I agree with NigelB who wrote…

But Seakayaker,…For those of us,who do not have English as their main language,…What do these abbreviations mean…
“JMHO - obviously YMMV”.

I think some moderation input is needed here. While I’m sure there are some interesting systems outside of those used by forum members, the intention of this particular thread is for members to highlight pictures of their own systems. Thanks. (Where’s HH when you need him?)
Say about what I’m not entirely sure. For what it’s worth, the best thing about seeing pictures of people’s rooms is being able to imagine them sitting there enjoying their music, a cup of tea or whatever. It’s nice to see the effort they have made in setting up their system and showing it in its best light. There is a bit of effort involved.
As to trawling the internet and posting pictures of reviewers’ systems and random nonsense, it adds no value. It’s lazy and simply dumbs down the Forum. Who cares what a reviewer uses? And then the criticism of their carpets and curtains. What’s that all about?
Good to have you back Nigel!
Hooked again?
A successful fishing exhibition, welcome back!
welcome back we were just talking about you, hope you have been keeping well.
Welcome back. We missed you.
To be fair, you have deviated somewhat from the original purpost of this thread, which was for people to post pictures of their own system’s. Why not start another thread - call it reviewers systems, whacky systems, expensive dream systems, or whatever you like. There are clearly a few who are interested.
Frenchrooster,…If now the forum is so conservative,…open a New Thread about…
"Non-Members Music-System".
It has been interesting to take part of your pictures,…especially to see what famous music journalists have for music-system.
Then I saw the pictures on their music-system, and the installation they made.
Well,…then got in anyway I,a much greater understanding how to interpret their reviews.
So Frenchrooster,…Please Continue In A New Thread.
I promise to follow it,as well as try to contribute with pictures.
Hungryhalibut,…There is no difference between this, and seeing members music-systems,…do not understand your attitude.
It instead increases the knowledge and experience,to see more music-systems in different installations…and preferably outside their own references.
Otherwise you will be slightly “in snow” in the compartment.
/Peder🙂
i don’t want to dominate nothing. I thought some people would be interested how other systems, from audio reviewers, would be like.
This thread is also not very active, often no post for more than 7 days.
I received some likes, so there are people interested.
Not you, unfortunately.
it is depressing for the working man but who wants to see my Seiko!!
