System Pics 2020

estalin ! :+1:
Works better on the veneer than the whisky. Iā€™m using the same product on my SBLā€™s.
MArco :cowboy_hat_face:

Oh, no! It was more about Kuhles Blondes!

Sure dbls make a good beer stand too

At the request of Popeye, in the ā€˜Best Live Recordingā€™ topic, I post these. I apologise for the quality, but I hope you can imagine the setup. First shot is from my chair, and the Fraims are to the right of that. Nac A5 runs behind my chair in 38ft runs to the SL2s, hence no prospect of SuperLumina

Of course the order is the other way round!

Great stuff, glad you was able to get your system pics on.
Looks great! :+1:t2:

I maybe wrong hear but I believe itā€™s supposed to be beneficial to get the ND555 away from the power supplies, have you tried it on the brains side of the rack? Any difference?

I donā€™t really have much option here, given the number of power supplies, and the difficulty of experimentation. It sounds superb, and life is shortā€¦
Happy days!

I have the same equipment as yours except nat01 tuner and LInn lp12 record-player

Amazing how the NAT 01 still keeps itā€™s place in all these high end systems

The LP 12 has been effectively redundant for many years now (Since ND555 really), and the NAT 01 was really only used for BBC Radio 3, but the cable signal for that is too crap to listen to now. I cannot get the cable company to do anything about it.
So, effectively, our systems are the same.
This yearā€™s big loss is the BBC Proms. By devious means, I was able to listen to the 320k stream through the ND555 last year, and while not the equal of the NAT 01, it was nevertheless very entertaining.
Letā€™s pray for a vaccine.

Beautiful setup!

Same here, even if my two runs are ā€œonlyā€ 20 ft. each

Claude

We have one each of those in the kitchen and bathroom. More than good enough for singing in the shower and preparing dinner.

Maybe thatā€™s because itā€™s the best source component Naim Audio has ever made (IMHO). I wonder how many were made in each guise, CB and olive. Does anyone know?

I have come across an Olive serviced one for Ā£995 from a highly reputable Naim dealer ā€¦

Are you going to buy it?

Yep great stuff I use if for all wooden veneers
Just donā€™t drin it

Itā€™s about 50/50 , I could get my NAT03 serviced for Ā£230 by Naim .

I actually (donā€™t laugh at this) want to spend money with Naim, simply because this forum has been a factor in my Lockdown survival regime and I think they are owed a spend (as a thank you) but I have just finished revising my system and the expected Naim purchase didnā€™t materialise. A source of deep disappointment to me

Decisions, decisions , the NAT03 is very good (or will be when serviced) but the NAT 01 is superb . However the surprising factor in all this is that I am feeding the signal for Radio 3 from Sky via the DAC in my UnitiQute and it is surprisingly good.

I used to be indecisive but these days I am not so sure about that
