Pool or HiFi…tough choice…assuming you live somewhere warm! I’m in Scotland so no brainer if that was our choice!! lol
Just build an indoor pool and stick a Mu-So in it, sorted!
Indoor pool is Statement money. But if I had the space and that kind of cash I’d be going for the indoor pool vs the Statement.
Room treatment can go too far. When I said we needed to damp the bass a bit…
Well you must remember he only listens to WAV files…
Through Tidal possibly??
I had a feeling I’d get some FLAC for my pool comments…
New look, new sound. Really enjoying it.
Old Tripod rack has gone and new Simrack installed - much more space to breath.
Akurate DSM3 replaces old Akurate DS2 and 42.5/Hi-Cap (huge improvement)
And NAP300DR replaced CB250 - running in nicely.
Rack directly from Simon Price, gear from Robert Ritchie Hi-Fi - thanks guys.
Won’t it short out? Or are they waterproof these days?
How far away from the tt is the chair? Do you have to run?
Good priority, you will have great fun with a pool. I put ours in, before the system upgrade.
Now that’s a small listening room.
Newly decorated man cave for 2020 together with an LP12 replacing the Project Debut Carbon and the Neat Iota Alphas replacing KEF LS50’s…
Plus a new Sherlock style listening chair and a Dickensian style desk.
Hate to tell you Graeme but you start thinking of YOUR wealth as FAMILY wealth. The guilt doesn’t evaporate, it morphs!
Yes, hifi sort of dominates it! Lol. However when door is closed the adjacent sitting room sounds pretty awesome with the B&W 804D3s. Speaker cables run behind walls. Vinyl is in the cupboard next to it. All quite subtle.
And a nice library as well.
Almost looks like a Victorian film-set, very impressive and one can almost smell the Whiskey ATB Peter
Very funny you should say that Peter…
I’m chuffed to bits with the room now, very comfortable for listening and chillin out.
Yes, it’s a globe bar.
ATB,
Mike
