Sucker for walnut

One spare shelf so another black box option…

Looks good. Try swapping the NDX2 and Supernait around tho. Definitely sounded better for me.

Thanks will do, was it if for some cones in the post so I can put the SN2 up a level so there will be space :+1:

Unitiqute 2 and Neat Iota in the lounge. Very different from my main system but sounding good and better than the MusoQB I had in there before - as a bang for buck second system (£900 on the used market) it’s really good value

Recently acquired 52/sc to replace 82/sc. Looks just the same but sounds so much better. Still awaiting those elusive 135’s.

Nice. I also recently parted with my green illuminated boxes and using the same Exposure amp and DAC as yourself paired wth a TP PS for the Qutest, a Melco N1Z EX streamer/server with some Neat Ministra speakers.

I was a bit worried to try a single box again but with the combo of the true signal Speakers wires and interconnects , i can honestly say i do not miss what i had .

Exposure integrated with the Exstra’s is a very nice combo .

You can have my pool, PITA always needs something.

I was not expecting it to be that much better but I am really surprised. For the money, it does brings out more and it is a fantastic match with the Melco. Truly surprised how good it sounds but it voids warranty, it seems.

As for the Exposure/Neat match, no question, great synergy.

You are lucky to have a full loom of TSA. I only have the entry level speaker cables and very happy. Gonna have to get me some more TSA goodies.

Hi Graeme,
Nice LP rack. It blends well with your fraims.

I’ve got one those in the loft. The platter runs backwards though :frowning:

What’s racks are using? They’re very nice? Simracks?

Lol. Thanks for the offer. I’ve heard that from several people. Hell we actually have a pool that has been buried by the former owner.

It’s a while since a posted in this thread. A 500DR arrived just over a year ago and I think that’s about the only change.

That’s just the phasing cap. Sometimes they’ll even repair themselves. My Rock came back from Townshend and the pulley just twitched unless I set it spinning by hand, then it kept going but after a few days of this it started normally.

Looks vaguely familiar - and sounds excellent!

Hi MDS. It’s all looking good!
Hope you are keeping well :+1:t3: Please enlighten me on what those funny copper looking feet are under your boxes and what you feel they’ve improved?
Beginning to wonder if I’m a bit bored

Hi Peter. I hope you are keeping well, too. Those copper feet are “Quadraspire QPlus Reference interfaces”. Quite a mouthful

When I got the CD555, which needed to be on the top shelf, which was then occupied by my 552 head-unit, I needed another solution to preserve the performance that the bronze spikes provide for the top of each stack. My dealer brought around a set of the copper pucks, which were just about to be launched, and they did the trick. He left the demo set with me while mine were being manufactured. When he delivered my set we then had a spare set to play with and couldn’t resist experimenting by putting them other other black-boxes! That was the slippery slope and how I ended up with four sets.
