Thank you Dan. I’m analogue, I love vinyl and have since I was 12. I do have CDs from the 80s and 90s but when I got serious with Hi Fi again it was a Vinyl system I wanted to build. The ND5 XS is to listen to Planet Rock - a bit indulgent I know!
Hi everybody, my mane is Luca, I’m from Bologna - Italy. This is my first post, very sorry for my English, hope google translate could help me.
This is my actual “hand made” set up, I never met NAIM since 4 years ago but it was love at the first note…
Ciao
Very nice and welcome to the forum.
Lovely and very stylish. Your English is far better than most of our Italian
I’m a big Planet Rock fan too. Listen to them at work as a builder! And in the van. Great station, been listening to it for over 15 years now!
Me too Dan they keep the flag flying
Mighty fine looking room! …and some near field listening!
After seeing @916SPS room, I’m going to wait for 2 months before I post to System Pics 2020. lol. Just kidding! I love seeing what others have done. It’s educational. Looking at @916SPS Fraim setup I’m confident I can stack to at least 5 levels…
Before I met NAIM (the photograph dates back to 3 years ago) I was and happy Yamaha 7.1 set up owner.
When I switch the front L+R amp Yamaha as2000 to 202/200 my Dynaudio SP25 change gear.
So if is true that less is more, now my set up is 2+1 and in my personal opinion compared to before there is no comparison. I think I’m in love whit NAIM prat! CDX2/XPS2 is near to come/hiline/202/HiCap/Napsc/250.
Ciao
I’m surrounded by music it’s quite unbelievable I know many of us have restrictions due to location and family - I don’t in this room. Anyone who hears this kit and after having reservations on the speakers sitting in the middle of the room are blown away.
No worries marcus stack them high they still work
You are correct there Naim present music magnificamente!
Awesome room, one of the best I have ever seen on here. Where did you get the coffee table, and how on earth did you make that wallpaper?
Thank you No-Quarter. I bought the table in Camden, but I’ve seen it available online on some sites so do a search I work in the creative field. I took some hi-rez photographs of the spines (really hard trying to work out what I wanted to include) I then had to work out how many I would need to fit the wall. After retouching in photoshop I made up artwork that I then sent to a printer in Germany to produce the wallpaper. I’m really happy with the result and I’m glad you like it. Funny that some people have seen the image and thought it was a shelf of miniture guitars and book shelf speakers
Just listening now it’s like wearing earphones without the discomfort. I can hear every detail and the dynamics are more evident … you should all have a go when you’re on your own
This is so cool! Do you have a shot of the real LPs too?
