Thank you
What a lovely room and colour scheme.I could sit there all day and every day just listening to music.Very well done.
Thanks a.why
As said previously, apart from being enjoyable for music, the room also became more peaceful. That relaxed atmosphere is quite pleasant when reading or simply sitting there.
A little upgrade for my downsize. Dynaudio Excite X34 from X14. X14 will move to surround duty for my AV setup. Qute doing just fine with X34.
Quick pic 1:
202/200/CDX/XPS/Allae/B&W sub/Marantz surround thingy (AV2 died a few years ago) and whatever else is there.
Don’t mind the “rack” … it’s crap but still waiting on a new one to brought here… Fred needs someone to help him with that and we live 3 up so… we liked the color at the time but now it’s a big fat thorn in my eyes
Not on pic is the Gyro Dec and the sick NDX…
Here’s my offering to this topic
It’s a bit cramped in the system corner but it’s the best I can do for the foreseeable future and it sounds good to my untrained ears
I love looking at your system pics, guys
get the idea I am the only female-type-thing here?
No Xanthe pops up from time to time, more on the technical threads. You are most welcome
Another audio-girl wow!
Never understood why it’s mostly men into this beautiful hobby… here it is the other way around.
If I let my better half go at it, we’d be listening to hidden Sonos cr@p right now … the horror!
I always felt so bad for the men that wanted to buy a nice big speaker but couldn’t because their wives… poor guys…
(wants Avantgarde Trio but can not because of fussy man)
There are almost certainly more women than that as Richard Dane once told me some prefer to be anonymous and surprise us guys.
On Thursdays I like to wear women’s clothing and hang around in bars. Does that count ?
Oh yes I am pretty sure there are more of us girlz out there. In some cases hiding because sometimes you have to deal with some nasty remarks. But that is not the case here, never was!
At least never saw any one be nasty to each other. I was always treated with respect by the men in the business, only one dealer needed a kick in all those years. Anyway, back to the topic!
Keep those pics coming!!
I do like your remote holder.
How do you rate the pairing of Allaes with a b/w sub, Helen?
Ye, he seems quite happy with his job
I can only speak for this one, it’s an oldie but goody. Fell in love with it the moment it came into the store as a occasion. We’ve had it since 2008 I think… I absolutely love this combination. Before this one we had Klipsch on the former set (series 5) and that was absolutely horrible. Which was more the sub than anything else… as timing wasn’t its best quality haha!
This one does what it has to do, when he has to do it according to the cats a great seat.
Which b&w sub is that ?
I have the X12’s with my Qute. It can drive those X34’s ok? I know that Dynaudio make a LOT of speakers, and apparently some lines are much easier to drive than others. It does well with these X12’s
