Some modern finishes are impervious to solvents and will not allow products like that to penetrate. Others will. You could try asking Naim if they know what sort of finish was used.
Probably no harm in trying though.
Yes, I believe I may have asked about this very issue sometime ago and Restor was mentioned. I just lack the courage to do it, just in case… one of these days I will try a patch at the back of the speaker and see…
you’ve got that very close to the back wall, which is apparently how they are supposed to be. For all sorts of reasons, pipes etc, mine cant be that close…
enjoy/ken
Dammit, I’m gonna start an NBL love page. Then maybe all 137 owners can post pictures of theirs.
Out of interest, how many pairs of SL2s were manufactured? I imagine more than the NBL.
Same question for the SBL.
349 SL2s Clive.
Thanks. As I expected, more than the NBL. I rather expect the SBL was the most successful in terms of production volume, but I wonder also about the DBL which must have had a very limited market owing to its size and cost.
I think something is missing here.
I agree - the maple is my favorite SL2 veneer.
Wonder how many Allaes were manufactured?
No it wasn’t that, it was just that Clive’s concerns seem limited merely to D, N and SBLs
Politely whispering IBLs too
Lovely Pioneer reel to reel👍
…plus c’est la même chose.
New socks I think. Christmas present?
Four years old I’m afraid.
Have you added a crafty CD player?
