Best. Mirror. Ever.
It is great mirror my parents had one just like it back in the 60s.
Same here Pete - and the clock
Didnât notice the clock but it does look like one my grandmother had.
We didnât think anything of them, theyâre probably worth a fortune now. Doh.
very nice systen!
Hi folks,
First time on the forum, I currently have the NAIM Mu-so 2nd generation.
Would love to upgrade to some âgrown upâ stuff.
Would be interested to hear any recommendations for a starter kit; bearing in mind I live in a two up two down terraced property.
Cheers
Best idea is to start a separare thread with your budget, room etc.
Good idea, thanks.
Cheers
Tim
Looks great! How did you get the green light that shines on every shelf? Even where you do not have Naim?
Sad day for a good cause. This is how things will look for the next few weeks.
My 282 - HiCap - 200 and CDX2 are off for service. The HiCap will get a DR upgrade too.
The stands from the Guarneriâs - the buggers are about 60 lbs each - are on their way to Sonus Faber in Italy to get new strings and grills. The silk/elastic strings around the stands lost all their stretch after 12 years. Purely cosmetic but it once they get saggy, it really looks like sh*t. Good thing is that SF does this for free (besides transport).
Pretty sure the Rockbox DAB radio is the only one sitting on a Fraim and is powered by a dedicated spurâŚ
Does the Fraim improve the DAB performance?
Nice room lovely mirror.
That bloody mirror gets more love than my system!
No worries, I really donât like your mirror but love your system Enjoy Peter
Thanks, the green colour is at the heart of the system clearly, it spreads to the non-NAIM shelvesâŚ
I tried switching to blue but it is not right. Red goes well while I sleep. White is for xmas get togethersâŚ
Okay, it was that simple then! In the original picture you posted, it looked like there were three separate green dots on each shelf, hence my question. Itâs really nice anyway!
The effect depends on the angle of view, ambient light and level of dimming down. I am still working on the light scatter problem and you rightly spotted the 3-led source of the conundrum.
However, I do pefer to not listen to the system in complete darkness, as does my eye rolling wife.
I must add SQ is unaffected by the light show.
