Hi @c2photo, a Trampolin II will sort out the footfall problem for you.
I have a suspended wooden floor too and it fixed it for me, while also helping the SQ.
Celebrating Marillion’s new (20th) albumn with a Friday nights Pimms. Rather delicious on all fronts for the glory of old England.
on my list to listen to this weekend.
Is that a record with a crack in it.
And a hole in the centre
Pimm’s… in March? You’re jumping the gun a bit there!

Well, I’m in an office and the only Englishman here today wears shorts.
Our 8-year-old son had a play-date today after school — we also collected his little friend, in shorts too. We had something like 6 degree celsius… After nearly 17 years on this island, I still don’t fully understand the indigenous population…
Hah! I’m in New Zealand and it’s still summer
Reminds me of school in the 80s.
We had to play football after school in February. So second half was basically pitch black and about 2 degrees Celsius. Our goalkeeper was in shorts and a T-shirt and was a strange blue/grey colour by the end of the match !
Not quite sure how he survived the 90 minutes
Some updates here in 2022, had my 2/22/22 birthday. So I did some importing! New Innovation and TT3 arm found in Spain at the Clearaudio distributer barely touched for a demo with the 24 V 3500$ power supply and 1200$ periphery ring for less than the retail of the table alone, I already have the ring and a power supply that I picked up second hand a bit a go, so I can sell those along with my 9" universal and Innovation Compact and its close to wash. The retail on the Universal is higher than the TT3, but I got it second hand as well with the ICW as part of a great trade for my Kleos SL . Also found a steal on the 12 inch universal(used by authorized dealer for 15 hours at demo significantly less than half retail in Italy) in matching black ,that will be mounted by Michael Trei next week.Everything was exactly as described and gorgeous He will be replacing the Rosewood Signature(Red in UK I think), with my freshly retipped by VAS DV XV1-T cart. Then he will replace the Benz Ruby H I installed on the TT3 linear arm. I wanted to get my bearings when it came to using and adjusting a linear tracking arm. It is the first I have used, let alone setup and install. It started out sounding incredible then whap, skipped like a stone across a pond. Frequent hang ups, it was awful. Took about 2 weeks to get it properly adjusted. It was absolutely worth the trouble, I will never be bummed about my favorite song being the last one on the side, as crystal as the rest. I had no idea how much distortion I was adding. “It’s like a veil was lifted”, nah but it’s absolutely more enjoyable. I am definitely glad I took plenty of time getting used to this arm before mounting what was supposed to be my only birthday present. A Koetsu Azule Platinum imported from Japan. I’ll post picture when mounted. Thanks goodness for no interest with min payment for 18months.
The linear arm is really impressive, not sure why they aren’t coming back. I never wanted to deal with pumps and such, So a record clamp, ring, floating magnetic bearing and a mechanical linear tracker get me close to the air triple play with less boxes and noise. Not really sure I’ll need two arms, but lets see how it goes, so far I haven’t touched the pivoted arm since I got up the nerve to set up the TT3. On the Innovation the 9 inch universal with Rosewood Signature, was the best I’d heard music in my room. Bigger and better everything, with deeper bass. No downsides other than its significantly increased cost and increased size and weight.
Oh, Bluesfan I took your advice on box arranging. Not sure I heard a difference yet but I’m not in the mood to put it back, I’ll give it time. Definitely no downsides. Thanks again for the advice. I am also breaking in a new Burndy so I had some work to do back there anyway.
After changing to a genuine Hicap.
I can already hear obvious improvements. Looking forward to listening when the new box is properly cooked in a few days time.
Only the one hicap?
Does the muso work well as a soundbar?
I have a large Sony soundbar that has a subwoofer. Works well and good bass.
Wondered about using a muso for this purpose

Yes chap. Hicap and NAPSC.
Previously, the space in the brawn stack was filled by The Cap That Cannot Be Named For Fear Of Death By Moderator Firing Squad.
The Hicap was a bargain from “Signals” in Ipswich. Used 2013 model but recapped and serviced at Salisbury less than 6 months ago at a “bite your hand off” price.
It’s only fair to wait until it’s warmed up in the system before I comment on the SQ difference.
Not common to see Origin Live deck here. Very nice! I was tempted by this deck too last here, among Vertere and P10. Is it the Resolution ?
Resolution Mk4. It’s in Gerry’s profile.
